Privacy policy

How the product handles the sensor readings you connect, the account information you provide, and the operational data generated by using the service.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information the service collects when you use the Misamtek monitoring engine, how that information is stored and used, and the choices available to you. It applies to the marketing site, the product itself and any edge gateways or ingest endpoints operated as part of the service.

Information you provide directly

When you sign up or write in through a contact form, you provide identifying information such as your name, work email, role and organisation. This information is used to create and administer your account, to route responses to the correct person, and to communicate about the service you are evaluating or using. It is not sold to any third party.

Sensor and equipment data you connect

The primary data the service processes is sensor readings from the equipment you connect. This data is treated as confidential to your organisation. It is used to operate the monitoring engine for your fleet - learning envelopes, flagging drift, generating diagnostic suggestions and maintenance recommendations.

Fleet-level pattern learning across customers uses extracted features and anomaly signatures, not the underlying raw readings. This is a deliberate design choice: it lets accuracy improve as the platform sees more failure examples, without exposing one customer's data to another.

Operational and usage data

Standard operational information is collected to keep the service running - device identifiers, IP addresses, timestamps, request paths, error logs. This is used for security monitoring, capacity planning and troubleshooting.

Cookies and similar technologies

The marketing site and product use a small set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, and to measure aggregate site usage. Analytics is aggregate and does not identify individual visitors to non-account areas of the site.

Sharing and processors

The service uses a small number of infrastructure providers to host, transmit and store data. Every such processor is bound by an agreement that constrains what they may do with data on our behalf. We do not share sensor readings, contact information or account data with third parties for their independent use.

Retention

Native-resolution sensor readings are retained for the period stated on your plan. Downsampled rollups are retained for the life of the account for trend analysis. Account and correspondence data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate business and legal purposes. Full deletion is available on request.

Security

Sensor readings and account data are encrypted in transit over TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES-256. Access to production data is restricted to a small operations group and is audited. See the security page for a more complete summary.

Your choices

You can access, correct or export the information associated with your account at any time from the product itself, or by writing to us through the contact page. You may request deletion of your account and the associated data. If the service is provided to you through an equipment OEM under white-label, some choices are administered by that OEM as the tenant owner.

Children

The service is designed for industrial use in professional environments. It is not directed at children, and the service does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in the jurisdiction where they are located.

Contact

Please write to us through the contact page for any privacy-related question, request or concern. Messages tagged as privacy-related are routed with priority.
